+  - Click the "edit this page" tab at the top of the page
+  - Create a new line in the table of macros - try to order the macros alphabetically - follow the formatting of the other lines
+  - Click the "internal link" button (8th from left)
+  - Enter the name of the new macro between the double square brackets  "New_Macro_Name"
+  - Enter a description of the new macro under the "Description" column
+  - When finished editing, press the "Save" button at the bottom of the screen - this will return you to the "User Macros" screen
+  - Click on the new macro name - this will navigate to a screen with "This topic does not exist yet"
+  - To create the topic click the "create this page" tab at the top of the page
+  - Type a title at the top of the page, highlight it and click on "H+"
+  - Type a short description of the macro on the next line
+  - Paste in the text of your macro, then highlight it and click on the "Ta" button.  This will format it as topas code.
+  - When finished editing, press the "Save" button at the bottom of the screen - this will return you to the viewing screen for this macro
+  - Go back to "User Macros"
 +  - Test the link
+  - Sit back with the warm cosy glow that comes from knowing that, once again, you and your feeble brain have conquered the machine.
