Subject: alternate declaration of local prms
Currently, declaring parameters like
scale sc_val 0.001
results in a global parameter called sc_val.

If I wanted a local parameter, I'd have to
local sc_val 0.001 min 1e-11
scale = sc_val;

Is there a way to shortcut the local declaration, and retain the default parameter limits? Maybe something like
scale local sc_val 0.001

Hi Matthew

Its not possible to make scale a local parameter. How you have done it seems correct.

I question however the need to have 'scale' as local. When you want to use a local 'scale' could you instead simply just use  Get(scale).

cheers
